Knicks guard Jason Kidd was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Kidd was driving an Escalade that crashed into a telephone pole. The Knicks guard was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and later released into police custody. He was arraigned early this morning and released. Kidd faces misdemeanor charges if convicted.
Kidd was also arrested in 2001 for aggravated assault against a women in an incident in-which Kidd admitted to striking his ex-wife.
