The New York Knicks welcomes the Orlando Magic to Madison Square Garden for a match up on Mar. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
This will be the final of four meetings against the Orlando Magic and the last of two games at the Madison Square Garden.
New York won its two earlier meeting in Orlando, 99-89 on Nov. 15 and 114-106 on Jan. 5 at the Amway Center. The Knicks defeated the Magic 113-97 at the Garden on Jan. 30. New York is looking to sweep the Magic in a season series for the first time since the 1997-98 season.
New York is looking to extend its five-game winning streak against Orlando, including two-straight at home.
New York was paced by Carmelo Anthony’s 28.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in three battles with Orlando. J.R. Smith posted 16.7 points 5.0 rebounds in three meetings against the Magic. Raymond Felton added 18.0 points and 7.0 assists in two games. Orlando was led by Jameer Nelson’s 25.0 points and 8.5assists in two meetings against New York. Arron Afflalo contributed 21.0 points, 4.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds in two match-ups.

Analysis: Carmelo Anthony is back, and it couldn’t have come soon enough. Following the heroic performance by Kurt Thomas, who played through a stress fracture in his foot on Monday, the Knicks need healthy bodies.

As bad as things have been for the Knicks, the Magic are 4-19 since their last loss to the Knicks at the Garden in the end of January. So lets keep that West Coast trip with a decimated roster in perspective. The Knicks are one the verge of winning their fortieth game tonight with 17 left to play. Things have been much darker at the Garden than they now are.
